JanFest and Georgia State Honor Band Clinics

The deadline for submitting students by director recommendations is December 2 for JanFest, and December 10 for Georgia State Honor Band. In order for students to be recommended, a deposit is made to BBA and then applied toward the costs when selected or refunded if not selected. Students are selected on the basis of the director recommendation, instrumentation needs, and achievement/participation in band activities.
JanFest is scheduled for Jan 15-18 at the University of Georgia. The cost for Symphonic Winds students is approximately $200 total (including a $70 entry fee, $80 room costs and $50 in meals).
The Georgia State Honor Band Clinic is scheduled for February 22 and 23, and the entry fee is $60. Symphonic Band students are selected based on director recommendation, instrumentation needs, and achievement/participation in band activities.
All deposits should be in by Friday, November 21 so applications can be submitted ahead of the deadlines. Parent volunteers are needed for both activities for transporting and chaperoning students.

Ham Certificate Pickup (Today at 5:00 PM)

If you turned in orders for the Ham fundraiser, you can pick up your product after practice this afternoon.

Holiday Concert (Dec 4 at 6:00 PM)

The concert will begin at 6:00 PM with the Maroon and Gold Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band and conclude with Symphonic Winds. This is a MANDATORY performance!

Parade (Dec 6 at 10:00 AM)

The Bronco Marching Band will be performing in the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Parade. More details to come!
